For the past few weeks, it’s been Chrome Hearts heaven around Urban Optiques.

We’ve just received our last shipment of new 2011 Chrome Hearts Eyewear models and we’re already seeing Chrome Hearts devotees come out of the woodwork to snatch up the latest, and hottest new models from the L.A.-based luxury eyewear maker.

The addition of more than 30 new models to our existing inventory makes the Urban Optiques Chrome Hearts Eyewear Collection the largest and deepest in Michigan (there is only one other eyewear boutique in Metro-Detroit authorized to carry them.)

It’s Day Two of  our “Sama Heart of Gold Five Ways Over Five Days“  and we’re changing things up with a platinum and white gold look.

Yesterday it was all about the warm, golden hues of the Sama Heart of Gold sunglass in yellow gold,  but today we’re creating an entirely new look around the cool, sleek Heart of Gold in Platinum with 18K white gold lenses.

In the look below, we’ve paired Sama’s platinum Heart of Gold sunglass –   featuring 18K white gold couture lenses — with an amazing black Jersey dress and pair of silver python sandals from Micheal Kors.

To top it off, we added a fabulous multi-chain bracelet courtesy of Versace.

Today’s look is all about contrasting the luster of platinum and 18K white gold off against the  classic little black dress.

The Badgley Mischka line of couture eyewear occupies a special place in The Visionista’s heart.

I’m not certain what it is, but Badgley Mischka eyewear continues to be one of my favorite luxury sunglass and ophthalmic lines that we offer at Urban Optiques.

While their eyewear line doesn’t generate the buzz of a Chanel or Tom Ford, it really should.

In my opinion, it’s one of the best kept eyewear secrets out there: Badgley Mischka’s eyewear is glamorous and beautifully-constructed and they definitely get “seen.”

Plus, they travel well — I’m currently wearing a gorgeous pair of Badgley Mischka “Marilyn” in pearl (with tiny little, subtle crystals along the temples) and they look amazing with everything from jeans to a well-tailored skirt-suit. I get tons of compliments whenever I have them on.
