Founded in 1923 by Louis Lafont in the Madeleine district of Paris, Lafont is a fourth generation family business that now distributes their unique frames and sunglasses worldwide. While the Lafont name is not as well-known in the states (outside of major urban centers like New York, Chicago and San Francisco), Lafont is one of our best-selling eyeglass frames among people who appreciate truly unique and expressive eyewear.

When you hold a pair of Lafont frames in your hand, the first thing that will strike you is the attention to texture, detail, and color. More like a piece of jewelry than merely an eyeglass frame, materials vary from etched acetates to cut metals like titanium and fine filigrees.
